Entry Form

Before completing the form below, save images of your artwork on your computer and use the file naming conventions outlined on the “Entry Instructions” page (please read before completing form).  You may submit up to THREE pieces for the single entry fee. Our entry fee is $35* (due within 48 hours of submisson of this form), and our deadline for entry has been EXTENDED to 3/19/2015 (to accommodate those who might have experienced difficulty in uploading entries into our system). IMAGES LARGER THAN 2MB MAY CAUSE THE PAGE TO TIME OUT AND NOT SUBMIT (though you may get lucky).  If you need help, see the four-step instructions below the form.  Don’t worry, we will get them in for you.

(For ceramic artists, to enter the $6,000 June ceramics competition, select “pottery/porcelain” as your medium when submitting each piece below)

DON’T SEE THE FORM? If you don’t see the form above, please try one of these options:

  1. Use Another Browser:  Internet Explorer is problematic, instead use “Firefox”, “Safari”, “Chrome” or “Opera”.
  2. Update Browser: Make sure you’re using the most recent version.

TROUBLE UPLOADING FORM OR UNCOMFORTABLE WITH ONLINE FORMS? To validate that your entry has been accepted, upon submission you should land on our “Thank You” page (where you’ll also receive information on how to pay) as well as received an email within minutes (time may increase depending on volume of entries) providing next steps.  If neither of these have happened, your entry was not accepted for a variety reasons (the red type at the top of the form should clarify), please try one of the following options.

  1. Re-submit Form: If you did not land on the “Thank You” page, but were instead returned to the top of the form after clicking “Submit”, the entry was rejected.  NOTE note the reason (top of page in red) why the entry was rejected.  You’ll also have to re-upload all images.  If images were too large (i.e. 5Mb vs. 500Kb), try to resize them here: http://www.resizemypicture.com/
  2. Re-submit Form: If images are too large and you can’t shrink them using step 1 above, load 2 images using the form and send the third to carolinasgotart@gmail.com along with  info (title, medium, size, price).
  3. Email Form/Images: If #1/#2 above don’t work, email images to carolinasgotart@gmail.com along with address, phone, how you found us and details on images (title, medium, size, price).
  4. Snail Mail: If #1-#3 don’t work, CDs or Flash drives with images may also be submitted to: CGA! c/o Elder Gallery, 1520 South Tryon St., Charlotte, NC 28203 – post marked no later than 3/15/15. Make sure your CD is clearly labeled with your contact information, as well as title, medium, size and suggested retail price of each piece). CDs/Flash drives will not be returned.
