Grand Opening Party: March 3, 2013 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
We expect 1,500 people at our three-hour-long event, which will be held in tandem with South End’s First Friday Gallery Crawl. Join Bloomberg’s Lance Esplund (our 2013 juror), Belk and scores of artists as we showcase the best art the Carolina’s have to offer. $15,000 in gifts and prizes will be given away to nine deserving artists at 7:00 p.m.
Transportation Recommendation:
CATS Light Rail: Elder Gallery is located within a block of the Bland St. Station in Historic South End. Park Uptown or in large Light Rail lots such as Scaleybark (corner of Scaleybark & South Blvd.). Upon exiting the Bland St. Station, signs will direct you to the Grand Opening Event.
Street Parking: South End has on-street parking throughout the neighborhood and a variety of paid parking lots. Early birds will get the best spots, so arrive early if you choose to drive. The gallery will offer no parking nor a valet service.
